[Living in Sydney] Day 3: Minh Anh birthday!!!!

Well, it was Minh Anh birthday ヽ(*´∀`)ノ We had a lot of fun PLUS troubles, but that's at night, let's talk about the morning.

In the morning, Uncle M. & Aunt T. drove us to the city for house inspection. We contacted some agents and had to run around since there were a lot of house to check out. The first one was on Sussex St , and it's beautiful , no, I mean it! Wooden floor, huge windows, city + a little of Daling Harbour view, Walk-in closet, two stunning bathroom a balcony, A/C and almost everything we need, especially, the location. ヽ(*´∀`)ノ Yay, however, we don't know if we can rent the house or not, still waiting 。゚(゚´Д`゚)゚。

The other house we saw were not that good or even terrible, they are on Castlereagh and Quay street. They are either too small or the view is too bad or the room are too dirty... (T^T) I met a Chinese lady who showed us around, we did not like any of the house but she is really cute and friendly to talk to. After the inspection, she showed us the way and even told me how hard Australian people are about renting houses. She was really nice to me. (*^o^*)

Then in the evening, my grandma asked Minh Anh - the little daughter of Uncle M. what type of food she would like to have for her birthday dinner. She liked Western food so we went there and ate. However it's near a casino club, so they asked for the ID cards and we all forgot them at home.

Well, in the end we had the dinner even after countless of troubles nd the food worth it. The steak was delicious and the salad and the cake... Yummy!

Yeah, that's pretty much the 3rd day! :3

P/S: Day 3 ended.

[Living in Sydney] Day 2: Paramatta and "Bò nhúng giấm"

Yeah I forgot to update so I will post the last two days today :3

Ok, so on the second day, we woke up pretty late and went right to Paramatta - the Vietnamese town to fix the sim cards problem we had yesterday. On the first day went to Chinatown for lunch and then headed to a yes!optus retail store to buy some sim cards for domestic and international communicate purposes. However, after charging the money, none of us can make our phone calls so we asked them to fix the problems and then they called the customers service and asked for help. They told us (after an hour (;゚Д゚)! of explaining and talking) that after two hours the sims will be activate properly.... but it did not happen... (`Δ´)!

So that one of the reasons we went to Paramatta, it's obviously easier to talk to a Vietnamese speaker than a Chinese-English speaker, not really offend though. There we went, I suppose to a shop, the shop keeper took us quite a while but they still can't activate the sim cards. He said that it's weekend and the office doesn't work! (┯_┯)

Ok. Then we headed to a duty free shop called something Hollywood!?
And we met the shop keeper of the phone shop again with his son, I guess. It's a funny coincidence. He used to live in Saigon as well but he moved to Australia more than 20 years already. Then I was so hungry so I went to the Smartsushi shop and had lunch. Like OMG, it's delicious!

They are such a small shop, but they have so many things to try: Inari [いなり] Nigiri [にぎり]  Sushi [寿司] Takoyaki [たこ焼き] and so many flavor (Salmon, seaweed ( ✧Д✧) カッ!! Tempura prawn, black rice with deep fry pork or chicken and cream cheese etc.) I love the seaweed so much *dripping*

Then I headed to the town square and waited  for uncle M - my parents' friend, and my grandparents to finish shopping. There was a man playing an electric guitar but he just kept playing the chords without singing and he asked someone who looked like his Girlfriend like "what should I do?" Well SING!!! ヽ(`Д´)ノ

Yeah, I was pissed off a little bit and then I met a 40-50 years old man who sat next to me on the huge bench and was eating ribs :] He asked if that guy sings or not then i said nope! Then he said then it's rubbish! :]]]]]]]]]

Then the rest of the night we just spent time around the table having dinner with beef-vinegar-deeping (Bò nhúng giấm), it's delicious :3

P/S: Day 2 :3

[Living in Sydney] Day 1: Arrival!

Today is the first day we arrived at  (≧▽≦) My grandparents, mom and I decided to stay at my parents' friends' house. They are so welcoming and cheerful that we felt so comfortable living here. The house is beautiful, clean and cozy even though the f
loor is freezing!!! Yeah, so what I was trying to say is the house feels warm but the temperature is cold... Confusing ,huh? (o˘д˘)o

Anyway, we went to check out for some apartments for rent. We lated for 1 of them so the agent went home, therefore we only inspect an apartment only. It's on 4th floor, quite near the museum station AND railway. (°д°) It's also opposite a huge park! (o^^o)♪Then there are 2 bedrooms, 2 bathroom and the floor is carpeted (is this even a word?) ( `ิิ,д´ิ) Ok, in conclusion we loved it, mostly me, since I can have my own room (*^o^*) [I nevet been that excited about getting my own room ;]

Ok, we can't stay in someone's house 4rever?! No, we can't. Therefore, PLEAZE LET'S US BE ABLE TO RENT THAT HOUSE or apartment ASAP! Thanks all kind of God.

Last but not least, we ended the day with a Chinese restaurant in a Vietnamese area with workers who speaks Vietnamese. (´◑д◐`)
Yeah, even though I passed the China Town today, I did not get a chance to have the pork BBQ bun... and the chilli dumpling noodles in the Tower?! OMG!!!!! (´;Д;`) It's terrible to think about food at Midnight!

Ok, that's it for today, I'm freezing to dead! G9 おやすみなさい(´O`)(_ _)ZzzzZZZ
